The Case Report on the Effectiveness of Infrared Light on Acid Burn Victim

This case report investigated the effectiveness of infrared light treatment on a burn victim with acid burns to the neck and face in Pakistan. After necrotomy to remove dead tissue, Low-Level Light Therapy was applied to reduce pain and enhance healing. The patient experienced mild hypertrophic scars and no stiffness, and post-operation therapy included physical training and massage. The treatment resulted in satisfactory outcomes, with the patient reporting less tightness in neck movements. The study concluded that infrared light promoted cellular repair and regrowth.
