TLDR Liquorice and Indian jujube root extracts don't help in fighting male pattern baldness.
The study investigated the effects of the ethanolic extract of Glycyrrhiza glabra and Ziziphus mauritiana roots on androgenic alopecia in male rats. The results showed that the animals treated with these extracts developed alopecia and had changes in follicular morphology, indicating that the extracts were ineffective in combating androgenic alopecia. The study concluded that these extracts do not possess anti-androgenic activity and may not promote hair growth or reverse androgenic alopecia.
