TLDR Combining hysteroscopy with Diane-35 improves outcomes and reduces recurrence of endometrial polyps.
The study analyzed the effect of combining hysteroscopy with Diane-35 on endometrial polyps and its impact on recurrence rates. Conducted between June 2022 and January 2023 with 90 patients, the study found that the combined treatment had a significantly higher effective rate (95.56%) compared to hysteroscopy alone (82.22%). Over a one-year follow-up, the recurrence rate in the observation group was significantly lower (2.22%) than in the control group (13.33%). Additionally, the observation group showed a significant reduction in endometrial thickness at 6 and 12 months post-surgery. No adverse reactions were reported. The conclusion is that combining hysteroscopy with Diane-35 improves surgical outcomes, reduces recurrence rates, and enhances endometrial health.

Scalp biopsies are crucial for diagnosing hair loss conditions like Diffuse Unpatterned Alopecia (DUPA) and retrograde hair loss, as treatments like finasteride and dutasteride may not be effective if other conditions are present. Combining PPAR-GAMMA agonists with retinoids could improve treatments for conditions like Lichen Planopilaris.
