TLDR Using hyaluronic acid fillers and laser together is generally safe and effective for facial rejuvenation, but careful planning is needed.
The review assessed the combined use of hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers and laser technology for facial rejuvenation, finding it generally effective and safe despite limited scientific evidence from small, nonrandomized studies. It recommended starting with light treatments before HA injections to avoid post-injection skin manipulation. While studies, including one with 36 subjects, showed improvements in skin texture and wrinkles, the review emphasized the need for future well-designed studies to better understand the effectiveness and safety of these combination treatments. Overall, the combined approach was considered safe, but careful planning was necessary to avoid potential complications.
