    The study investigated the effectiveness of home remedial herbs in preventing and treating polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in reproductive women. The herbs included Linum usitatissimum (flax seed), Zingiber officinale (ginger), Cinnamomum zeylanicum (cinnamon), Ocimum tenuiflorum (basil), and Trigonella foenum-graecum (fenugreek). These herbs were formulated into an oral suspension and tested on albino Wistar rats, showing no acute toxicity and normal organ integrity. The study concluded that the herbal formulation was successful in treating PCOS and could be marketed for this purpose.
