    The study focused on formulating an herbal shampoo using extracts from Calendula officinalis, Lawsonia inermis, Citrus limonum, Citrus ulgaric, and Santolina trifoliatus, and comparing its physicochemical properties with commercial shampoos. Tests conducted included physical appearance, pH, solid contents, foam, viscosity, dirt dispersion, surface tension, wetting, and conditioning performance. The conditioning performance was evaluated through a blind test involving 20 volunteers. The study highlights the growing popularity of herbal shampoos due to consumer perception of their safety and lack of negative effects compared to synthetic options.
