TLDR The herbal shampoo works well but needs improvement for better quality and safety.
The study focused on formulating and evaluating a herbal shampoo using natural ingredients like Ficus Religiosa leaves, Hibiscus leaves, Reetha, Shikakai, and Aloe vera. The herbal shampoo was assessed for organoleptic and physicochemical characteristics, including wetting time, pH, solid content, surface tension, dirt dispersion, foam stability, and viscosity. The results indicated that the shampoo had good froth stability, detergency, cleansing ability, small bubble size, low surface tension, and effective conditioning properties. Although the physicochemical evaluation showed ideal results, further development is needed to enhance the product's quality, performance, and safety.
