The study developed a natural herbal shampoo using six plant-based ingredients: amla, ritha, shikakai, guava leaf, lemon, and aloe vera, chosen for their traditional and scientifically proven hair care benefits. The shampoo aims to cleanse, condition, support hair growth, reduce dandruff, prevent dryness, and enhance hair texture without synthetic additives. Prepared through aqueous extraction and cold blending, the shampoo underwent extensive testing, showing a near-neutral pH, good foaming capacity, and effective dirt dispersion. The formulation is safe, eco-friendly, and meets the growing consumer demand for natural personal care products.
