    TLDR Hair transplants can effectively treat hair loss but may need multiple sessions for full results.
    Hair transplantation was the most commonly used surgical technique to treat androgenetic alopecia, performed on an outpatient basis with a small risk of failure. The results were visible only after a few months as the grafted bulbs regenerated hair. However, limited density might have required additional operations to achieve the desired effect.
