Recipient Site Creation for Hair Transplantation: A Prospective Half-Side Comparison Study of Hole Versus Slit

    This study compared the hole and slit techniques for recipient site creation in hair transplantation. It found that the hole technique significantly reduced the mean time for recipient site creation compared to the slit technique (95.5 seconds vs. 121 seconds; p = 0.021), likely due to better visibility of the holes. The study concluded that the hole technique is a rapid and effective method for recipient site creation.
