TLDR The supplement reduced hair loss and increased hair thickness safely.
This study assessed the effects of a supplement containing medicinal plant extracts, amino acids, and vitamins on hair loss in 20 subjects aged 29-50 years. Over 3 months, participants took 1 g/day of the supplement. Results showed a significant decrease in hair loss counts (P<0.05) and an increase in hair thickness (P<0.001), as well as improvements in self-assessed hair damage and thickness. No side effects were reported, suggesting the supplement could be a safe and effective option for improving hair loss.
