Hair Growth Activity Test of Ethanol Extract Combination of Fragrant Pandan Leaves (Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb.) and Mother-in-Law's Tongue Leaves (Sansevieria trifasciata Prain.)

The study aimed to evaluate the hair growth activity of a combination of pandanus leaves (Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb.) and sansevieria leaves (Sansevieria trifasciata Prain.) extracts. The extracts were combined in different ratios (1:1, 2:3, and 3:2) at a 5% concentration. The combination with a 3:2 ratio showed the best hair growth activity compared to the other combinations, normal control, 96% ethanol, and minoxidil. The results indicated that the combination extract had better hair growth activity than the individual extracts.
