Evaluation of Hair Growth Activity of Ethanol Extract Combination from Pandanus Leaves (Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb.) and Sansevieria Leaves (Sansevieria trifasciata Prain.)

    The study aimed to evaluate the hair growth activity of a combination of ethanol extracts from pandanus leaves (Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb.) and sansevieria leaves (Sansevieria trifasciata Prain.). The extracts were combined in ratios of 1:1, 2:3, and 3:2, with the 3:2 combination showing the best hair growth activity. This combination was compared to normal control, 96% ethanol, and minoxidil, demonstrating superior hair growth activity over the individual extracts. The findings suggested that the combination extract could be more effective for promoting hair growth.
