The study conducted in Chennai, India, focused on hair-related problems among 393 men aged 18-50 years, revealing a high prevalence of hair fall (60.3%), baldness (50.4%), dandruff (17.1%), and greying (37.97% among those aged 18-35). Despite these high prevalence rates, awareness of treatment options was limited, with 59% of participants aware of creams and medications, and 55.5% aware of hair transplantation. The study highlighted the need for increased knowledge and attention to hair-related issues, which were often overlooked despite their psychosocial impact.
