TLDR Cellcurin serum significantly increased hair growth in people with androgenetic alopecia.
The study evaluated the effectiveness of Cellcurin serum, a growth factor cocktail including fibroblast growth factor 9, in treating androgenetic alopecia (AGA) in a randomized clinical trial with 20 participants (10 men and 10 women). Participants applied 2 drops of the serum daily for 12 weeks. Results showed a significant increase in hair density, terminal hair count, and the sum of terminal hair diameters in both the frontal and vertex regions. Additionally, there was a statistically significant increase in the proportion of terminal hair to vellus hair in the frontal region, indicating the serum's potential effectiveness in treating AGA.
