Successful Treatment of Gray Hairs with High Dose Calcium Pantothenate

    Pasricha
Two adolescent girls with premature greying of hair were treated with 200 mg of calcium pantothenate daily. Over follow-up periods of 29 and 13 months, 757 and 1,069 grey hairs, respectively, were observed to have turned black. This suggested that hair greying was reversible in some cases, indicating the need for further studies. A method for assessing the effectiveness of treatments for grey hair was also described.
