TLDR A young girl with skin and scalp conditions showed some improvement with treatment.
This case report details a 6-year-old Middle-Eastern girl diagnosed with granuloma annulare, alopecia areata, and dermatitis, presenting with skin lesions, scaling, face discoloration, and patchy scalp alopecia. Treatment with topical minoxidil, betamethasone, and triamcinolone acetonide intralesional injections showed modest effectiveness for alopecia areata. The report underscores the rarity of the co-occurrence of these conditions in a pediatric patient and highlights the need for further research to understand any potential physiopathological links. The study was ethically approved, with informed consent from the patient's guardians.
