TLDR Government action is needed to address high prescription drug prices.
The document examined the relationship between wholesale and retail prices of prescription drugs to identify potential sources of high costs beyond manufacturers. The study suggested that further research was needed, including investigations by federal legislative and executive branches, to better understand and address the issue of high prescription drug prices.
