TLDR Switching to generic drugs is necessary but faces communication and information challenges.
The study examined the factors influencing the switch from brand name drugs to generic ones, involving 50 doctors, 50 pharmacists, and 50 patients. It found that replacing original medications with generics raised several issues, including insufficient information for both patients and specialists, poor collaboration between physicians and pharmacists, ineffective communication between specialists and patients, and the impact of profit motives. The study aimed to identify new cooperation points to benefit patients.
