TLDR The method accurately and reliably detects residual solvents in Finasteride.
The study established a gas chromatography (GC) method for determining residual solvents in Finasteride. Using an HP-INNOWAX capillary column and a flame ionization detector (FID), the method effectively separated 11 kinds of residual solvents. The process involved specific temperature settings and used nitrogen as the carrier gas. The results demonstrated complete separation of the solvents, with calibration curves showing good linearity, precision, and accuracy. The conclusion was that this method was accurate and reliable for determining residual solvents in Finasteride.
