Frequency of Different Dermatoses Presented at OPD in Sir Syed Hospital Qayoomabad

    TLDR Young women were the most common patients at the dermatology clinic.
    The retrospective study conducted at Sir Syed Hospital Qayoomabad analyzed one-year data from January to December 2018, involving 2,924 patients of both genders presenting with various dermatosis. The average age of the patients was 30.23 years, with females making up 66.4% (1,942) of the patients and males 33.6% (982). The most common dermatological diseases observed were Acne, Scabies, Urticaria, Tinea corporis, Acne vulgaris, Melasma, Tinea cruris, and Eczema, with their frequency varying according to seasonal changes. The study concluded that young females were the most frequent visitors to the dermatology OPD.
