    TLDR The distal radius evolved to adapt and function despite potential fractures.
    The article was a literature review aimed at confirming or refuting the hypothesis of supranormal adaptation concerning the distal radius. It explored whether the evolution of the distal radius anatomy accounted for the possibility of injury and examined the connection between the evolution of the wrist and adaptation to potential fractures while preserving function in case of injury.
