    Pseudofolliculitis barbae and folliculitis keloidalis nuchae were chronic follicular disorders that disproportionately affected men of African ancestry. The article explored the etiology, pathogenesis, treatment, and prevention strategies of these conditions. Effective management involved a combination of pharmacologic and procedural interventions, along with behavioral modifications.
