Eyelid Skin Tightening: A Novel Niche for Fractional CO2 Rejuvenation

The study evaluated the efficacy and safety of Fractional CO₂ laser for eyelid tightening and periorbital wrinkles in 45 patients who received 2-3 treatments. Photographs were taken at multiple intervals up to 12 months post-treatment, and results were assessed by three independent dermatologists. One year after the final session, all patients showed improvements: 11.1% had excellent improvement, 24.5% marked improvement, 33.3% moderate improvement, and 31.1% slight improvement. Additionally, 82.2% of patients experienced eyebrow elevation. The study concluded that Fractional CO₂ laser treatments effectively improved eyelid skin tightening and eyebrow elevation safely and without significant side effects.
