TLDR Treatment reduced cystic lesions but didn't change existing Nevus Comedonicus.
This document discusses a rare case of extensive Nevus Comedonicus (NC) along the lines of Blaschko in a 48-year-old male, characterized by multiple comedo-like lesions with keratinous plugs. The patient experienced episodic painful cystic swellings but no systemic anomalies. Dermoscopic and histopathological examinations confirmed NC, showing keratinized stratified squamous epithelium with deep invaginations. Treatment with oral isotretinoin and laser ablation reduced cystic lesions but did not change existing NC lesions. The case highlights the rarity of extensive NC along Blaschko's lines and emphasizes the importance of treatment to prevent complications.
