TLDR Euphorbia hirta oil may promote hair growth naturally.
This study investigated the hair growth-promoting potential of a herbal oil formulation using Euphorbia hirta L. extract in testosterone-induced alopecia models in Wistar mice. The formulation, consisting of 2% Euphorbia hirta extract in a coconut oil base, was tested against a control group, a negative control, and a positive control using finasteride. Over 30 days, the test group receiving 0.8 mL of 10% Euphorbia hirta oil showed promising results, suggesting it could be a natural alternative to synthetic treatments for hair growth disorders.
