TLDR Allium ascalonicum L. extract may help improve insulin resistance.
The study investigates the effects of Allium ascalonicum L. extract on insulin resistance (IR) in Swiss-Webster male mice induced with a high-fat-high-fructose diet. The findings suggest that the extract may improve IR conditions, as evidenced by an increase in insulin tolerance test (ITT) values and a reduction in blood glucose levels. Despite these promising results, further research is necessary to confirm the extract's potential in alleviating metabolic disorders.
