TLDR A woman had a cyst in her salivary gland, likely from Botox, which was removed and confirmed as an epidermoid cyst.
A 27-year-old woman presented with swelling in the left parotid gland, which was identified as an epidermoid cyst through MR imaging and ultrasonography. The cyst likely developed following botulinum toxin injections in her left masseter muscles. The lesion was surgically removed and found to be encapsulated and filled with keratin. The final diagnosis confirmed it as an epidermoid cyst, a condition often treated with surgical excision and rarely recurring.
