TLDR A new surgical technique effectively cures acne in most patients.
The study developed a new surgical technique for treating acne vulgaris using tweezers to widen hair follicles and discharge comedo and pus. Among 4566 patients, 85% were cured within 1-10 treatments, 93% within 1-20 treatments, and 99% within 1-50 treatments. The technique showed complete healing of acne, suggesting it could serve as a basic treatment option, potentially preventing psychological distress and avoiding medication side effects.
