TLDR Laser device increases hair density, safe for treating hair loss in men and women.
A study conducted 9 years ago evaluated the efficacy and safety of a low-level laser device, the HairMax Lasercomb, in treating male and female pattern hair loss. The study involved multiple randomized, double-blind trials with a total of 269 subjects. The results showed that the laser device was effective in increasing terminal hair density and was safe for use in treating pattern hair loss in both men and women. The study suggests that low-level laser treatment may be an effective option to treat pattern hair loss in both men and women.
