    The study evaluated the effectiveness of topical minoxidil in treating androgenetic alopecia (AGA) in 20 patients aged 18 to 45 years. Results showed clinical improvement in most cases, with increased hair growth and density in affected areas starting at about 3 months and completing by 12 months of treatment. The conclusion was that minoxidil is a good alternative for treating AGA in both males and females.
