This case report highlights the rare overlap of Drug Reaction with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms (DRESS) and Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) due to antituberculosis drugs, occurring 35 days after treatment initiation. The patient required intensive care due to severe skin and systemic symptoms. The report emphasizes the importance of timely and accurate diagnosis using scoring systems like RegiSCAR and ALDEN, and the critical role of corticosteroids in managing the immune response. It also underscores the need for safe therapeutic alternatives for tuberculosis to ensure effective and safer patient management.
