TLDR The device applies substances directly to body tissues, improving cell transplant and treatment processes.
The document from 11 years ago described a device designed for applying a medium to human tissue or an animal body. The device featured a carrier with a micro-cavity to hold the medium in direct contact with the target area. It could be used on various body parts, including the eye, skin, internal organs, and notably, the scalp for hair follicle regeneration. The device allowed for the transplantation of modified or non-epithelial cells to the ocular surface and other superficial tissues. It also facilitated the controlled, dosable application of substances to improve cell engraftment, proliferation, and differentiation. The device made the transplantation process simpler, faster, and more precise by eliminating the need for cell culture on a lens or other media and enabling control over the location and quantity of cells applied.
