The study compared the effectiveness of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and salmon DNA serum in healing pockmarked skin using Dermapen treatments on 16 male Wistar rats, divided into two groups of eight. Both treatments promoted wound healing, but PRP was more effective, likely due to its bioactive molecules and growth factors that enhance tissue proliferation. Statistical tests confirmed normal data distribution and similar variances between groups, with significant differences in healing favoring PRP.
