The research also discovered reactions leading to serotonin and melatonin derivatives, with melatonin tribromo derivatives showing promise for osteoporosis treatment. By integrating 1-hydroxyindole into various chemical structures, new active substances were created, enhancing the original pharmacological effects. Additionally, 1-methoxyindole derivatives were identified as anticancer agents. The study highlights the importance of avoiding smoking and drinking to prevent the formation of neurotoxins and maintain mental and physical health.
