TLDR COVID-19 vaccines are linked to menstrual changes in many women.
The study explored the relationship between COVID-19 vaccines and abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) in women of reproductive age, revealing a significant association between vaccine administration and the occurrence of AUB. It was noted that up to 50-70% of women experienced menstrual changes, such as polymenorrhea, oligomenorrhea, hypermenorrhea, hypomenorrhea, and AUB, following vaccination. The findings underscored the need for further research on the long-term effects of COVID-19 vaccines on reproductive health and emphasized the importance of monitoring and addressing potential adverse effects as vaccination efforts continued globally.
