The study also noted that infected laryngectomy patients could pose a risk to medical personnel, necessitating special protective measures. Non-essential procedures, such as prosthesis replacement and endoscopic manipulations, were advised to be postponed until the epidemiological situation normalized, with vital operations conducted under strict precautions.
