The treatment was found to significantly increase hair fiber diameter by 2-5 µm, which equates to an approximate 10% increase in cross-sectional area, and improve the hair's mechanical properties, making it more supple and resistant to breaking. The study demonstrated that the active ingredients penetrated the hair fiber, enhancing both tensile and torsional properties, which could benefit individuals with thinning hair by making it easier to style and less likely to break. However, the study did not mention the number of participants, which is crucial for determining its reliability.
