TLDR An 8-year-old girl had a rare, benign skin tumor on her forehead.
Cutaneous lymphadenoma, a rare benign neoplasm, typically affects individuals aged 14-87 and is usually found on the head and neck. This report detailed the second known case of congenital lymphadenoma in an 8-year-old Asian girl, who had 4 pink papules on her forehead. Microscopic examination showed a well-circumscribed tumor with epithelial lobules of basaloid and clear cells, a dense lymphocytic infiltrate, and numerous CD68+ histiocytes and CD1a+ Langerhans cells. This case expanded the diagnostic possibilities for cutaneous lymphoepithelial tumors in children.
