TLDR Both new minoxidil formulations significantly stimulated hair growth and improved dermal metabolism.
The study compared the hair growth effects of two new topical minoxidil formulations—a 2% cream and a 1% gel-based shampoo—on experimental animals. Both formulations significantly stimulated hair growth within 3-4 days. The 2% cream's effectiveness was similar to Pilfud Bosnalek spray, while the Trichlomin shampoo outperformed Dove anti-alopecia shampoo, likely due to plant antioxidants. Both products improved dermal metabolism and protected hair follicles but did not significantly impact dermal energy metabolism.

The regimen for hair loss includes topical finasteride, clascoterone, tretinoin, minoxidil, oral saw palmetto, beta-sitosterol, vitamin D, microneedling, and anti-fungal shampoo. Expected benefits are increased hair growth and density, with considerations for potential skin irritation and interactions between treatments.
