Clinical Masks of Celiac Disease in Children: Examples from Practice

    The article discusses the diverse clinical presentations of celiac disease in children, emphasizing the importance of recognizing atypical forms of gluten intolerance. It presents three cases where children exhibited unusual symptoms such as recurrent alopecia, persistent seborrhea, and pronounced abdominal syndrome following gluten consumption combined with physical activity. The study highlights the necessity for timely clinical and laboratory diagnosis to ensure early treatment and improve prognosis. The research adheres to ethical standards, with informed consent obtained, and reports no conflicts of interest.
