TLDR Botanical lotion CG428 may help regrow hair and reduce scalp inflammation in chemotherapy patients.
Botanical lotion CG428, containing Allium cepa L., Citrus limon L., Theobroma cacao L., and Paullinia cupana, was proposed to combat chemotherapy-induced alopecia (CIA). When applied to the scalp, it potentially normalized the apoptotic process of hair follicular cells and reduced scalp inflammation. This could reverse CIA, restore the natural hair cycle, promote hair regrowth, and enhance the psychosocial wellbeing of patients.
