TLDR Proteins from Tianshan red deer abomasum have strong anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, and antioxidant effects.
The study focused on extracting and characterizing two proteins, A1 and A2, from the abomasum of Tianshan red deer, revealing their significant bioactive properties. A1 showed strong anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting COX-2 by 78.67% at 0.1 mg/ml, while A2 demonstrated notable anti-tumor activity, inhibiting human colon and gastric cancer cells by 79.38% and 85.89% at 1 mg/ml. Both proteins also exhibited antioxidant activity. The findings suggest potential applications in pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals due to their bioactive properties.
