The study explored the use of Bhringraj Taila for treating Khalitya, a type of hair loss in Ayurveda, through a case study of a 27-year-old female with diffuse hair loss. After applying Bhringraj oil daily for 4 weeks, the patient experienced a significant reduction in hair fall, dandruff, and itching, with no adverse effects, suggesting the oil's effectiveness in treating Khalitya. The study also emphasized the importance of addressing lifestyle and dietary factors, such as Viruddha Ahara and Pitta Vardhak Ahara, which contribute to the condition by increasing Pitta and Vata. Ayurvedic management includes therapies like Abhyang, Shodhan, and Rasayana, with a focus on Nidanparivarjana and lifestyle adjustments for effective treatment.
