The technique was also used to treat androgenetic alopecia and post-surgical or post-traumatic defects. Two studies were mentioned: one involving 133 patients found yearly fiber loss was less than 10% in 91.4% of cases, with 96.2% patient satisfaction; another with 44 patients found an average yearly loss of fibers of around 20%.
