TLDR Hair transplantation is effective for seborrheic hair loss if done carefully.
The study analyzed 3,000 cases of autogenous hair transplantation for treating seborrheic hair loss between 1998 and 2002. Results indicated that transplanted hair grew well, although the density was influenced by the donor hair density and the size of the hair loss area. The study concluded that hair transplantation was a viable option for patients with seborrheic hair loss, emphasizing the importance of harmonious hairline design, appropriate direction of transplanted follicles, regular haircuts, and the dependency of hair density on donor hair and the hairless area.
