Antioiliness Efficacy Evaluation of a Cleanser Gel Containing Salicylic Acid, Vitamin C, and Lens Esculenta Seed Extract by Facial Oiliness Map Methodology

The study evaluated the antioiliness efficacy of a cleanser gel containing salicylic acid, vitamin C, and Lens esculenta seed extract using a novel facial oiliness map methodology. Conducted with 17 subjects with a mean age of 38, the study measured facial skin oiliness at baseline, and 2 and 4 hours after application. Results showed a significant reduction in oiliness by 44.9% after 2 hours and 19.1% after 4 hours compared to baseline. All participants experienced reduced oiliness after 2 hours, and 82% maintained this reduction after 4 hours, demonstrating the cleanser's effectiveness in reducing facial oiliness.
