    The study assessed the residual antibacterial activity of five mousse products on canine hair against Staphylococcus pseudintermedius using 15 dogs with no dermatological history. Hair samples were tested over 14 days, revealing that mousses containing chlorhexidine with ketoconazole, miconazole, or climbazole exhibited significant antibacterial activity up to Day 10. By Day 14, only the mousse with 3% chlorhexidine and 0.5% climbazole maintained significant activity, while the other two mousses showed no significant effects. The findings indicated that three mousse products had residual antibacterial activity for at least 10 days.
