TLDR Male pattern baldness may be reversed by reducing scalp tension and improving blood flow.
The paper discusses a novel understanding of Androgenetic Alopecia (Male Pattern Baldness), highlighting that the condition is not solely due to hormonal factors like DHT sensitivity, but also involves Galeal Tension-Induced Follicular Hypoxia. This occurs when chronic tension in the Galea Aponeurotica, caused by cranial muscle contraction, compresses perifollicular capillaries, leading to a hypoxic environment. This hypoxia increases HIF-1alpha, which in turn upregulates TGF-beta1 and 5-alpha-reductase, contributing to hair loss as an ischemic event. The authors propose a Triad Therapeutic Protocol that addresses the Electrolyte Medium, Vascular Dynamics, and Neurological Signal to restore homeostasis and potentially treat the condition.
