    Two patients with alopecia universalis, onychodystrophy, and total vitiligo were studied, but extensive investigations, including endocrinologic evaluations and viral cultures, did not identify any systemic abnormalities or etiologic agents. The study discusses these conditions and considers their potential interrelationships.
